This sounds very promising. Can you go in to more detail for the "not so computer savvy" crowd that I'm a member of. Thanks:)

    ok.
first download the iso of android 6 ported to x86 from here:
    https://osdn.net/projects/android-x86/downloads/65890/android-x86-6.0-r3.iso/

then write it to a fresh fat32 formated usb drive (is it ok for you?)

instert the pen on the minix and power on while pressing f11

select the boot from usb drive.

chose your flavour: you can test it in live mode or install in the internal hard drive overwriting the previous android
I Installed it on the partition 15 (I think) - it was the biggest one, and left the others as they were.
selected grub boot loader install and "voilá" :) it worked for me :)

Do it at your own risk :)

you can revert the instalation following this tutorial:

I think you need to say with what and how to write it!

Note: during the installation I had to use a wired keyboard.

Thanks for all the advice! I got through all the steps and booted up 6.0 in the live mode. Writing the file with Rufus was new to me but with a google tutorial it all went very smooth.
I had a few reservations about switching over permanently tho. Seems you can only use wifi and to turn off the box I had to pull the cord. I tried putting a build through Ares onto it but it wouldn't take. Figure because I couldn't do a total reboot to the system. All in all tho it seems to work well. Thanks again!

Bluetooth it´s real dead, somebody could set to full hd resolution? I only find a way in <6.0 android versions, I can't find grub folder in ours version

PS: to install I'd to use a live linux pendrive, 'cause the ISO android couldn't format to ext4 my partitions
