I need some help my a2 lite remote does not work. It works only for a few minutes when I insert new batteries. Then it just won't do anything except the sleep button. The only one that works. When I press any button the light is turning red just like when it used to work. But nothing happens. Any suggestions. I must have bought like 10 packs of bettaries the last week.

I have it over 1 1/2 year. Since October 2015. I've tried re-calibrate but still nothing.

Any update on this? I'm looking into purchasing that remote but if after a year the battery doesn't last I won't buy to avoid waste/pollution.

The remote uses two AAA batteries.
I use rechargeables and have little, if no, issues with battery/charge life. But for this type of remote, depending on usage and type/brand of batteries, the life of the batteries can differ immensely.

I'm not certain you will find any remote like this that batteries will last a year ! Possibly a TV remote might last a year as they generally are just for on/off. I use decent Alkaline batteries with moderate usage and they last me several months. @Villa choice of using rechargeable batteries is the best option to save on waste, pollution and dollars !

I didn't know the batteries was removable so it fix the issue - I though the battery was built in ;)
    Awesome thanks guys!!
