    Hi All,

Received my NGC-1 yesterday, initial impressions were great but i seem to be having some bluetooth issues with my mouse and keyboard.

Initially, it connected to both with a little messing around, the mouse seems very jerky and jumping around which makes it actually unpleasant to use.

But when i came to it this morning, The mouse was connected but the keyboard just wouldnt connect. It says paired, but not connected. I've removed the keyboard (unpaired) re-paired, and it connects but then disconnects almost straight away and then wont reconnect.

Tried updating the bluetooth intel driver, there as no updated drivers available - tried uninstalling the intel bluetooth hardware, reinstalled it - which seems to have broken it more as windows keeps disabling it now and the bluetooth settings screen disappears from the settings list when its disabled.

I'm in the middle of resetting the NGC-1 back to factory settings to see if that solves it but if i go back to the start i fear i'll have the same issues with jerky mouse and connecting problems after a while.

Any suggestions or help as i'll likely return the item if i'm unable to resolve the issues, which is a shame.

1.) Have you updated the Bluetooth driver?

    2.) Are the antennas attached?

Please UPDATE, instead of resetting the device (which means rolling back to something older...)
These are .exe and run by simple clicks, they will complete by themselves.
You may install BT driver first, and then Wi-Fi driver because Wi-Fi driver requires a restart.

Hi Ken - Thanks for those - I hadnt found those specific drivers. I've installed them and it seems ok so far thank you. Resetting the device didnt complete anyway - it got to 100% and froze. On restart it just started up normally so installed the above drivers. It would be great to perhaps have a little update utility just for Minix, that alerted to latest drivers as most users wouldnt find the new drivers. Perhaps the box is meant for people with more knowledge than me.

End result - everything seems ok for now - thank you!

    Maybe you can try these?:

I think the Intel driver update utility suits your needs. ;)

thanks again Ken. One last question about that.

the update utility says that driver latest version is older than my current version.

is it best to go with the one I have or install what the utility says is latest?

I think you should keep whatever working fine. :)
