I know I'm not very visible because of that big 'aspect ratio' problem, but this is still happening.

After I watch a movie or tv show and then delete them from usb drive and put something new on my pc, when I plug that stick back to Minix, in Kodi and ES File Explorer there is still that old like 'image' on usb stick from the last time, there are still the same files from before which I deleted (??) and every time I have to reset the box and then it's ok.

Have you got the "show hidden files" option enabled in ES file Explorer ?

There is also a hidden file option in Kodi Krypton.

Maybe uninstall that rubbish File manager and try X-Plore instead.

That option is disabled in both ESFE and Kodi.

whilst you keep rubbishing es file explorer i like to use it for its very simple remote manager operation for ftp file transfer

i tried x-plore but couldn't find its equivalent , perhaps you can advise on if its there and how to initiate it?

There is the Wi-Fi file sharing and SFTP, but I think you have to make a donation for those features to be enabled.

Being an admin for some other forums, not related to this one, here just an idea. I would really like to urge the admins and moderators of this forum to be more strict in allowing discussions that are not really a bug and to move those topics, at an early stage, into a separate thread. Now it jumps from one issue to another and this discourages to follow and even help.

Even better, I would propose that a new bug section would be created with the possibility to make a new thread per issue by the users. This way the current existing bug tracker can only be edited by admins/mods to add any confirmed bugs in their own words. These posts include a link to the actual underlying reported threads. This would make more sense and will give a clearer overview for everybody.
    - Users will be able to quickly identify confirmed bugs.
    - Admins will get a short list of all the confirmed bugs that need to be addressed.

I understand by writing this here I'm adding to the current situation. Just a thought I wanted to share.

Upcoming change log, we don't know it will be named as FW007, or just FW006A, yet:

    1. Fixed the slow switching audio tracks bug
    2. Added 1080p 23.976Hz and 4K 23.976Hz modes (for fitting some apps that do not support refresh rate switching)
    3. Fixed bottom status bar problem
    4. Fixed unable to perform clicking in some apps problem
    5. Fixed a bug that occasionally HDCP disabled by itself during boot/wakeup
    6. Fixed a random green screen bug at the beginning of video playback
Berserko, steveg32 and skynet like this.

Yes, and I've explained that before, it's a side-effect of fixing the grey color scale issue.
The layer to output the video has been changed, and Kodi has no control over it.
We need to find a way to make it working under this layer with correct colors.

    thanks Ken...
for me , the remaining issue is the 16:9 stretch , and since it's not yet fixed in the upcoming update , i'll just manage playing video files using any other android box til it's been fixed. aside from the mentioned , the video playback is truly superb. but unfortunately , the 16:9 stretch is crucial to me , so i'll just wait.
thanks again for the extreme efforts

If this is the issue with stretch 16:9, I hope this does not get fixed and break the gray scale again. Then, it will ruin the movies for all of us.

do you actually think they'll fix it on the expense of the gray scale ??!! this is unbelievable...

@MINIX - Ken kindly ask MINIX devs to add this simple addition to Android's build.prop for test FW006A/7

Have you read through these threads?

In your thread you failed to say which TV you have?

My problem is not the same. I have green screen ONLY on video playback layer. When i press back key, GUI programs (Youtube TV/ FODI) shows with no problem. You can watch this to understand:

Also, i already try to SETTINGS-SCREEN RESOLUTION-MORE SETTINGS-RGB 8BIT (restart device to be sure) but the problem arrive at short time.

TV is Panasonic TX-32LX70P. Like i say, green screen is ONLY on video playback layer.

Also, when i use Chrome (actual version from Google Play or even old version from firmware) to view youtube, when i press fullscreen, show green screen and Chrome hangs (see pictures)
With Firefox and Internet Beta from Samsung dont have that problem.
And DRM info app show that Microsoft Playready DRM is not supported!

PS: Android reset dont resolv my problems.

I see the same in fullscreen YouTube, Chrome but do not see this issue elsewhere!
