    Hello.
    After 1 day uptime /system/bin/mediaserver is using around 90% of my CPU (in this time movie, music, youtube, etc players are stopped).
    After reboot /system/bin/mediaserver not using CPU, but after some times i have same situations (about 90% CPU).

    you better reflash the firmware from a PC.

    I flash from PC (USB Burning Tool v2.0.4.3), after wipe data, wipe cache...
    This command "killall -9 mediaserver" helps (mediaserver restart), but this is not a good solution

    OK, then can you tell us how to duplicate this problem?
    What apps are you running can make it happen?

    First day - 4 hours watch movies (mx player 1.7.34 Neon) - bug not found - idle (not sleep). Next day in the evening bug was found.
    I'll try more test & inform you.

    So just now open movie (4K) from usb stick (NTFS) with Gallery - next step will be play with MX Player = when i close MX Player, mediaserver use ~90% CPU. After this i use the command "killall -9 mediaserver" and try again, but bug will be unsuccessful :(

    You can add the MS 3600 Bluetooth mouse to that list also.

    I have 2 questions:
    1. Every time, when i reboot tv box, when i open Google Play (version 6.2.10) i must accept "Google Play Terms of Service" - this is bug only for me, or everyone has this bug? (i try to clear data google play and gapps, but nothing to change).
    2. Every time, when i reboot tv box, when i go to settings, a see "Verify apps" is checked, but I do it all the time is unchecked "Verify apps" - - this is bug only for me, or everyone has this bug?
    Example screenshots.

    Maybe i badly flash firmware, and i need reflash the firmware again from a PC, and will be well (including previous bug with /system/bin/mediaserver)?

    How do you have that Play Store version? As far as I am aware it should be 6.0.5

    It's a "bug" that we shall fix in the release this month.

    Ken, how does this come about, what causes it? I see no issue yet and no one else reporting said bug!

    Ok, I'll wait the new firmware.
    Bug with "/system/bin/mediaserver" also proved to be true?
    Sometimes framerate don't switch hz - i start play movie *.mp4 or another video format - and i have 60 hz (in this time mediaserver not using CPU ~90% or high), when i kill mediaserver or restart tv box and start this movie = framerate switch.
    Thats all of bugs, what i found on fw008A

    I have to X8+ boxes both updated via full system. img to 008a.
    One of them has no issues with playstore. the second everytime i open googleplay its asks me to accept. keep ticking the box but it still askes everytime.

    plays with audio but no video?

    With this there is no problem. I think maybe this bug of /system/bin/mediaserver or framerate don't switch hz.
