Do you think this is a bug of MX player if it fails to release the task?
Tested the game you mentioned for hours, no problem.
Please reflash your firmware, very likely the update is corrupted.
Both TS & MPG files stutter every time at 00:03-00:04 on my laptop, I don't think this source is a reliable reference.
and MPG is decoded by software, so frame switching would not work.
While TS is decoded by hardware.
You should set your default HDMI output to 1080p 50Hz if you view this kind of contents most of them time, as they are mostly 25fps.
Do you mean Clash Royale?
You don't have to take their answer so seriously, it's just a template to reply to everyone.
Is your box a faulty one? You can't run anything on it as far as I can see.
You can't run games, you can't run benchmarks, you can play videos.
I think the most logical outcome is that your unit is a faulty one, and that you should claim for an exchange or refund.
Antutu v6.1.4 score is around 33,000 by the way...
This status icon works with Android system's VPN only, not 3rd party VPN apps.
The Clash Royale game doesn't work, confirmed, but the reason is, the game doesn't support force landscape orientation, enable the option "Application request to change orientation" then it could run, it's a game issue.
For those complaining about poor MPEG2/4 video quality using SPMC/MINIX XBMC, please make sure hardware decoder options are set to ALWAYS on.
as they are off by default for SD quality (older) videos.
Please make sure MPEG2/4 hardware decoders are enabled as "ALWAYS".
Video quality & smoothness will be greatly enhanced.
Please share with us so that we could reproduce it, if you could reproduce it every time, that means we should too.

Please make new update of this fw version, because fw009 sometimes crashes (tv box soft reboot, when open or close any applications). I reflash the firmware from a PC with wipe data/cache
PS 007A & 008A do not have this problem.
Maybe. I remove this script, and download app from Google Play "Mediaserver Killer", set kill schedule every 1 hours, and add mx player to ignore list.
Now i have 17 days uptime, and never seen mediaserver usage bug.. But i have installed FWoo7A (I with pleasure to use the firmware 008A, but this FW have Google Play Bug (reset settings after reboot) I don't know how to fix manually).
I don't have those settings showing, I have:
Render Method (Auto detect, greyed Out)
Enable HQ Scalers for scaling above 0%
Allow Hardware Acceleration - amcodec (enabled)
Allow Hardware Acceleration - libstagefright (enabled)
Allow Hardware Acceleration - MediaCodec (enabled)
Reset above settings to default
I'm using XBMC 15.3 as per this thread: http://www.minixforum.com/threads/minix-xbmc-v15-3-final.13111/
@Spellbound ...maybe you don't have settings set at expert level ?
Just checked and as I thought I do.

Please make one more fix - Very slow buffering on IPTV (about 20 seconds in HW decoder) on FW007A, 008A & 009
I try to play with udpxy (multicast to unicast) - same buffering.
PS On my phone and tablet i have 2-3 seconds buffering.
For test i can up udpxy to you.
You may use the tool with flying CPU monitor & background monitoring to check the real-time CPU loading,
probably it would be easier for you to visualize when exactly does the problem happen, if there were any.
Which player do you use?
Please note that MINIX XBMC has extra large cache buffer size, which is 3 times more than default,
and would take longer to cache in the beginning but less likely to stop during playback.
MX Player only.
XBMC i do not like and uncomfortable.
Or in developer options same options CPU loading (real-time)
Can you make some update for 008A Google Play Bug (reset settings after reboot)?
