OK, no problem.
Did you unplug the cables or power? Or just by rebooting could duplicate the issue?
I rebooted from the Power Menu app. But it also used to happen when the device froze every 3 or 4 days with a previous firmware version. However it doesn't happen every time, it's just random and I find out by not hearing any sound after rebooting, so by now I know the cause when this happens and I have to go into options to fix the setting.
You may try reflashing to the latest 005 firmware directly with a PC.
I have this issue too but it´s very random and rare, but I have it
Minix can't reconnect to router over WiFi after wake-up from sleep-mode. This was reported on previous version before and the fault remains in this firmware.
Workaround, manually disconnected and reconnect from system menu.
First time report in this thread! We shall take a look!
Which product are you having? X8, X8 PLUS or X8-H?
My X8-H doesn't have this...
Since updating to 005 the XBMC YouTube plugin doesn't work at all. Anyone else experience this?
I upgraded my X8h to FW005 via OTA a week ago. Since then whenever I connected my external HDD (1GB) to the X8h, the X8h would die (power-off) while the external HDD remains alive (power still on). I tried a second external HDD, and the same problem happened. What can I do?
same thing, wifi or ethernet. i need to reconnect it very often after the sleep. first i thought it is related to ip, but this happens too with a static ip address.

Minix X8-H, only upgraded with official firmware's since stock firmware. Never rooted and never used beta firmware's.
No problem, this issue can be fixed.
It's a minor bug, we solved it.
Official FW006 will be released next week.
Friend MINIX - Ken good news and can you tell us what are the changes as open mouth
Change log will be provided, as always.
FW 005 is the worst version so far for me.
Could you please tell us why?
