I downgrade 4.4.2 (kitkat) to 4.2.2 (Jellybean) success, everything works fine except for two USB ports.
I plug in the mouse (wireless mouse, optical mouse), it does not work,
it only works when I plug the USB cable into the USB port laptop or TV remainder.
Can you explain and guide me fix it? Thanks

We will release a new kitkat rom soon ( release candidate for test crew will be build tomorow. )
If oall goes good it will be ready for release within a week.
We had an USB issue on the current x5mini rom that has been fixed in the new one.
This is not about going from 240 to 230 (they are both android 4.4 kitkat). Why do you want to go back to 230?

i am newbie an i got some issue here,
after i upgrade my minix X7 to ver 4.4.2,
i want to back to the official firmware for my device.
but i don't follow your method, because i don't reliaze that i have to downgrade, if i want using the official firmware
so i just flash my minix device to the official firmware using RKBatchTool--1.7 (windows 7)
and the flashing process doesn't completed, after that each time i try to get to flashmode
the flashmode that i got not longer than 8 seconds
so what i have to do ?
and for another question , where i can get X7series_JellybeanLoaderV1.bin ??
had the same problem with escaflowne
followed your method, managed to erase ID Block & all Block successfully.
but when i click download, it will fail with Download IDB Fail error.
Why are you trying to get back to JB? And what system are you using on your PC?
Cause some apps not working well with kk.
Running on Win 7.
Decided to try again today, and everything went ok.
Was able to complete the operation.
Neo x7 not boot help me
Can this procedure be used to update from 4.1.1 to 4.2.2? I need to update my unit because the latest Kodi version Isengard requires minimum 4.2. Please help and advise. Thank You...
to updaqte from 4.1 to 4.2 just flash the full firmware package you want to put on it.. this is only for degrading from 4.4 to 4.2
I followed the procedure to downgrade my X7mini and have now the problem, that the PC under windows 10 lost the connection with the device after flashing the boot loader. Result is, that the PC does not recognize the device correctly and so does the rkbatchtool. I tried then with a Linux system using rkflashkit. It was not successful, too. The tool does not show any partitions on the nand storage, but it is detected.
I hope there are some ideas how to repair...
For anybody who may ask for the reason to downgrade. The X7mini did not remain in sleep mode after pressing the A2 Air Mouse power button, even if I deactivated the gyroscope. So it run night and day. Sleep mode did not work with kitkat rom 230/240. So i decided to fall back to the 011 ROM.
Some additional informations:
I found another software to connect to rockchip devices, it is called Linux_Upgrade_Tool
The device is detected

I have Neo x7 mini running kit kat 2.4.0 ,Every few hours disconnecting itself from network and crashing, I have to unplug power cable and plug in again to re connect. I was running 2.3.0 which was the same but I did a successfull OTA
Followed this guide. Bricked device. Hey, thanks for making my x7 nothing more than a paperweight buddy. I suggest you actually TEST things before you post "guides".
@up: what system are you using on your PC?
Just to let you all know the procedure above doesn't work. To be more specific, it works from item 1 through 5 but you will not be able to flash 4.2.2 roms again.
I'm working for days into this and I'm stuck in 4.4.2 - unfortunately - due the lack of Bluetooth support (it connects and pair with the devices but nothing works).
Take care people with this 240 version - I'm already stuck don't do the same mistake!
