Firmware upgrade Neo X7: Don´t do it

Yesterday I upgraded my Neo X7 to the latest firmware. During the update I got the massage: Battery charge too low to execute the upgrade. My Neo was, of course, connected to the powersocket. Somehow, something happened. The device was stuck, black screen. After 15 minutes the X7 could be used again but now is VERY slow, playstore does not work anymore, from many apps I get the message they need to be updated which I can not do because playstore is not working. When I check the description of the device it says it has been updated to the latest firmware but the specifications say differently. What to do? Will a reset to factory settings work?

Firstly, which device do you have the X7 or the X7 Mini?
The firmware for these devices is not the same.

It does not say " mini" on the device or in the Setup Guide so I assume it is an X7

You are still on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Not sure what you think you have upgraded to?!

To update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat you should flash your device...

Download link (to be used for a Fresh install or pre CE210 versions)

    (drivers and Flashtool included)

    How to...

    Another 'unofficial' option is this...

Thank you very much for your help. Only it did not work out well. I tried for 4 hours to do the upgrade as described in the links you sent me. Unfortunately I was not able to get the Neo X7 into flash mode. Also the OTA upgrade did not work, always the "battery not charged enough" warning). Then I was so fed up that I ordered a Neo U9-H. Once again, thank you very much for your effort.
