    Dear X8-H Plus users,

We noticed some of you are having problems putting the box to sleep/wake,
or other connected devices are being affected.

We found out the cause is because the "wake lock" event by some apps delaying the sleep process,
a hotfix will be provided on top of fw004, plus other fixes.

It has scheduled to be released next week.

    Regards,
    Team MINIX.

    Ken,

My TV is Panasonic. In version 004 after switch TV OFF/ON the TV remote doesn't work. I have to go to CEC configuration and switch OFF/ON and then it works.
In version 003 it works. In version 002 doesn't work. Will this hotfix fix this?

Could you, please, remap HDMI-CEC keys Yellow/Blue to original meaning and map them to KEYCODE_PROG_YELLOW/KEYCODE_PROG_BLUE
and add other color keys Red/Green and map to KEYCODE_PROG_RED/KEYCODE_PROG_GREEN.
There are apps which use colors keys for some functions and it'll misunderstanding if the colors keys do another actions.
The best solution is original meaning by default and configuration interface to change it.
Is it possible to add another keys like CHANNEL_DOWN/CHANNEL_UP, MEDIA_REWIND/MEDIA_FAST_FORWARD, ZOOM_IN?

My minix still doesn't respond to the tv remote (lg tv).
Always saying "no simplink device), but it turns on/off the minix at the same time I turn on/off the tv.

I believe it will fix your problem.
In Android OS/our box that 4 keys should be reserved and useless.

I'm using LG too, and Simplink works.

It's an "old" lg with about 5 or 6 years, never got cec to work.
Not complaining, I can live without it. ;)

In the old days Simplink was bad, newer models are much better and yet it's still not as good as Sony & Samsung.

    Why useless in Android?
    Look at android/view/KeyEvent.html
    KEYCODE_PROG_BLUE
Key code constant: Blue "programmable" key. On TV remotes, acts as a contextual/programmable key.
    Constant Value: 186 (0x000000ba)

    KEYCODE_PROG_GREEN
Key code constant: Green "programmable" key. On TV remotes, actsas a contextual/programmable key.
    Constant Value: 184 (0x000000b8)

    KEYCODE_PROG_RED
Key code constant: Red "programmable" key. On TV remotes, acts as a contextual/programmable key.
    Constant Value: 183 (0x000000b7)

    KEYCODE_PROG_YELLOW
Key code constant: Yellow "programmable" key. On TV remotes, acts as a contextual/programmable key.
    Constant Value: 185 (0x000000b9)

I have installed IPTV app which uses all 4 colors keys.
    For example:
    Red - switch Live/Timeshift
    Blue - EPG
    Yellow - Add/Remove Favorite
    Green - Search

There are a lot of apps which use colors keys and all TV remotes have color keys.

Nice! Just wanted to report the problem with waking up the device after putting it to sleep. But it looks like you guys already got it coverd.

Not shure if this fix will cover my waking up problems.... But here it only occurs when I put the device to sleep when being in XBMC. If I first go back to the android environment before putting the device to sleep then there's no problem waking up the device.... When I put the device to sleep mode in XBMC and I want to wake it up, the screen starts flickering while being dimmed, the flickering goes faster and faster until it's one solid screen and then in the end the screen is also no dimmed anymore. But nothing happends withing XBMC. The only thing I can do is go back to the Android environment close down XBMC and start it up again.

One again, I'm not shure if the fix will also concern the waking up problems I'm decribing here. Otherwise I'm sorry for all the text written down ;)

There will be a patch pinpointing the wakeup event from XBMC.
