I don't know how to check speed of the system but feels like the same I guess.
If you could, upload the picture of descriptions from amazon.

That seems to me exactly same as mine.
I have no clue why not working on yours..
Maybe defective ram?

I sent the ram back and am getting a replacement of the same.
If that does not work then I will send back again and get a Samsung stick.
If that doesn't work then the sledge comes out.... Just kidding on that one.
Will update once I have new ram on Monday.

My replacement memory came in to day and I insalled it.
NCG-1 started up no problem and the Windows Info screen is showning 8 gig now as in the picture above.
Must have been a bad memory chip in the original one received.
I've been contemplating upgrading RAM from 4GB to 8GB - but keen to hear if those that have already done this have noticed real performance benefits? Sometimes my RAM usage is at 75 to 80% with Edge, MS Word and Thunderbird open on 8 tabs and a few background cloud services running.
So I order the exact memory that you got, Put it in and nothing ,no video out no beep no boot. Repaced the 4Gb Ram and beep all boots up no problem, Im not too happy with new memory dead on arrival maybe need to look for a better brand ?
Sounds like the Crucial 8GB Single DDR3L 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL11 SODIMM 204-Pin 1.35V/1.5V Notebook Memory CT102464BF160B is NOT the best option Samsung is probably the way to go.
It seems no help from Minix re this upgrade in memory I don't know why I bother with this product???
