    hey guys is there a way to run Linux Mint in our machines?

    Will it start from Usb thumb drive ?

    Yes, Ive tested 18.1 and18.2 but HDMI audio is not working live or installed. there is a patched iso apparently but no link is given by the author.

    Try this as it is essentially similar to Linux Mint (Cinnamon): I've now got audio and wifi working on the Minix NEO Z83-4 and here is a link explaining how together with a link to my ISO: http://linuxiumcomau.blogspot.com.au/2017/06/third-look-at-ubuntu-1710-spicing-up.html
    Note: you will need to copy over a Windows wifi file using a command like the following (hint: modify the 'from path' to reflect your device): cp /media/ubuntu/Windows/Windows/System32/drivers/4345r6nvram.txt /lib/firmware/brcm/brcmfmac43455-sdio.txt
    You can always respin your own Linux Mint ISO using my 'isorespin.sh' script if you prefer.
