I have noticed it on some sources and not on others. I think it depends on how good the source is at keeping up with the processing speed of the Device.

I can't seem to be able to update from any method (I currently have 20161012 version) :
    OTA stucks on "reboot"
PC tool doesn't recognize the device
USB the update fails even when I made sure the file is OK with md5 checksum

Trying to update to fw10 didn't work as well.
    Any suggestions?

Problem here stuck in "reboot" too with OTA update.

Do I lose my apps and settings if I update via USB/SD Card?

Hi deon10, if you update via USB/SD card you keep your apps and settings, donĀ“t worry!!

I've just updated from FW005, after this the audio does not switch automatically when I pair a bluetooth headset, I have to manually configure the audio output to the headset each time I want to use it, I also have to manually switch the audio back to HDMI when I turn the headset off.

This used to be automatic, it's a big issue for me.

Something is wrong. I am on Fw 11, and my Bluetooth headset connecting to minix automatically once I powered it. Once headset is off, minix automatically coming back to hdmi. Try to clean flash Fw 011

Do you mean I should flash the firmware with the usb burning tool?
