    Please check this. Thanks.

To find out if the WiFi adapter is running Windows 8.1 (NDIS 6.4) driver, open Power Shell and run this command:
    Get-NetAdapter | Select Name, NdisVersion

Hi everyone.. I'm planning to get the Z64W soon.. I think now is the right time to discard all my power hungry HTPC.. but I wonder is there any recovery media provided by minix for the Windows version? How if the Windows become corrupted which need more than Refresh/Reset function? Is it possible to image the whole Windows (Macrium Reflect, Acronis Trueimage, Norton Ghost, etc) in case something happens with the Windows? Thanks in advance.

spidf is kinda classed as old technology now as it doesn't support the newer sound formats such as DTSHD etc. you get the best sound from your hdmi and surround kits usually have these now to support all formats. so if you still have an older setup you may just have to stick with the older boxes.
but consider upgrading your surround kit and go hdmi. you will love it!

I found a couple of options for restoring the Z64.
If you go to the Control Panel and search for "Recovery", you can create a recovery drive and put it on a USB stick. There's an option there to transfer the entire restore partition to the drive, which takes up about 4GB.

Also, if you go to the Update And Recovery section of System Settings (also where you'll find Windows Update now), you can refresh or restore the device. Plus, you can also boot straight to the BIOS or a USB drive from an option here too.

    Hope that helps!

Nice update there.. when u mean that we can create the recovery drive, does the recovery media creation process make that USB a bootable recovery media? Being a tech support I know how Windows 8.1 can sometimes really screw up your device, and no other way to repair it unless using a bootable media such as Windows 8/8.1 bootable USB media.

Have anyone tried RW Everything app, to check the ACPI table whether Minix has preloaded the Windows product key into the BIOS? I am thinking once I get my Z64W, I plan to create Windows 8.1 USB installer using Windows Media Installation Creator . Do you think the method could work on this Z64?

    Thanks in advance.

Mine is definitely running 32-bit Windows. I want to know how to access the bios and set it to boot when powered. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and change the playback device from speakers to your TV or AVR.

Do you have audio or video stuttering?
What is the refresh rate that you have set in Intel HD Graphics Control panel?
What is the model# of your Yamaha AVR?
