Every time I try to use the OTA app, the system gets stuck. It unzips the file, then says reboot, and stays there. I don't have the option to do a USB update because I don't own a Windows PC.

Suffice to say, I am stuck.

    Any direction would be appreciated.

Go to recovery and clear cache then try again.
You could also do a factory reset but all data will be deleted.

Thanks skynet..it's works! I've same problem with stuck reboot..
I misunderstanding about clear cache before I read your post :)
I thought clear cache & data for system update from setting >> app

now my minix is up to date after update with usb zip 5 times until FW007A :(
if only we can update just one time jump to the latest firmware...

Yes, I'never success with OTA update, so I update manual using USB with update package.
I read somewhere in this forum that we must update it sequentially..
or we must use "Full system image flashing" to update directly to the latest firmware ?
for ex: current firmware FW004, then we flash once with FW007A, skip FW005, etc?

When using the USB.zip update package there is no need to update sequentially!
It allows you to jump directly to current firmware without losing data, the same as if you update OTA sequentially.

ahh I see...that's why I'm wondering why the update file size with OTA is smaller (not same) as usb.zip :D
    thank you for this info..
