    Tuga power. Hehehe
I Think not, and you have to root it to update it. :(
I'm thinking on rooting mine only because of that.

try turning of hardware acceleration and restarting it. that got the video working for me
(you need to change to settings in 14.1 from standard to expert and you'll see acceleration
  9. killeriq

    killeriq Member

there is no point to use it without HW acceleration...it will take too much CPU power + heat...

then you have to wait for the Minix version of Helix which will patch the issue

At the weekend I received my X8-H Plus and upgraded its operating system to Android 4.4.2 Thu Dec 25 14:59:47 and replaced the XBMC with 13-3-3-Beta 8

My problem is related to Frame Rate.

I have it set and mostly it works selecting 1080/24/50/60 as required.

The snag is that some 24p films playback looking a little like slow motion or perhaps every other frame (all the items are made with MakeMKV from my BD's)

One, that plays like this is "The Postman" so I tried re-doing it from the BD but it plays just as poorly.

    Any ideas please?

Can we please keep posts on-topic. Posts not about the Minix XBMC Beta versions should be posted elsewhere.

It's exactly the same for setting up nfs share on kodi/xbmc and Minix xbmc/spmc

Another frame rate issue with Beta 8
Some of my files play at 60Hz rather than 24p

    The information comes from MediaInfo

Does XMBC indicate anywhere what it thinks the correct frame rate is for a file?

Is it because of Frame rate mode : Variable?

    Another problem for you Gurus...

I have been trying Handbrake which seems to work except for one issue chapters, except the first one don't work

XBMC says the titles have chapters but the skip to chapters only seems to work once to the second chapter with the display top left saying Chapter 00/12 - (Chapter 1)

    The file types are m4v

The xbmc.log will show what XBMC thinks the frame rate is. My guess it is because of the VFR in the files.

    @Moderator / wizzards:
The first article in this thread says "work with NEO X6/X8/X8-H/X8-H PLUS only"
I have an X7-216 ... what do I need to do to get XBMC to run?
I was told I need to update firmware ... and I've posted my error message on another forum [LINK]
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
