Video and audio out of sync in full screen after April Win update

When watching streamed videos (like YouTube or TV over the internet) with a browser in full screen (4k, 30Hz) causes the video to lag, in normal size it works fine. This worked fine before the April update. Is there a solution to this other than reverting back to an older version?

Also watching stored videos on VLC or PotPlayer was having the same problem or worse. Kodi (Krypton), however works fine (even plays an UltraHD (2160p) video that neither VLC nor PotPlayer would play even before the upgrade) and also what came with the new Windows, Film and TV, generally works.

Seems like Edge works slightly better than Chrome with the streaming but not always, may start ok but in the middle of the stream it starts lagging again.
Need some driver updates or what? Tried to set the graphics performance for Chrome to High performance but that didn't do anything.
  2. You can try reducing your Windows Visual Effects. Click search and type "systempropertiesperformance.exe", select "Adjust for best performance".

Thank you! After a quick test it seems that the problem is solved!
