A real contender to replace my Minix Neo X8-H!

I use an U1 now and it is a very capable box. From what I read, X8-H is an excellent TV box as well.
I am curious. Why do you move from an Andriod to Window?

I think that the Intel X5-Z8300 combined with Windows 10 will have longer and better support then the AMlogic chips with Android.
Furthermore it supports Netflix in HD, Amlogic with Android not. Thus my X8-H has become EOL in my opinion.
It also has some problems with auto refresh rate switching, don't think that will ever get fixed.

I have no experience in a Windows based TV box. Does it have endless windows updates like a regular PC?

I use my U1 for Kodi only, and the only apps I installed is ES File Manager. I do not get any system updates at all; other than the official Minix firmware releases.

It's Windows! It's just the same as a regular PC in that aspect.

I love my windows minix, in fact it's my main and only one pc now as well as my media center, for the rest my ipad and it's all I need. I'm not sure why should I buy an android one as it is a very limited machine in my opinion (because of android mainly).
