Is there a way to downgrade from this Wasser 3.0.6 Lollipop to oficial KitKat 250. I flashed this Wasser rom and i'm not happy with the way it behaves : no remote apps work, i have problems with screen etc.
I like to know if it's possible to downgrade. Thanks in advance.

    Reflash FW250 full system image.

I successfully upgraded my Neo X7 to the latest firmware and I cannot access my external powered USB 2.0 hard drive. I was able to do it when I was running Android 4.2.
    Any idea?

The latest official firmware is Android 4.4.2

Is that what you are referring to? If so why are you posting here under a custom ROM thread?

Sorry, I installed the latest Wasser 3.0.6.Android Lollipop 5.1.1 rom. Not the official firmware. And I cannot see the powered USB hard drive.
    Do you have any suggestion?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi there,
I am having trouble with Kodi on Wasser: I have been using versione 16 of Kodi for a long time on Wasser 3.0.6 with no issue, this morning I updated to versione 17 of Kodi using Google Play: Kodi works fine with one exception, after I pause a video, when I play it again audio and video go out of sync, and I can't understand why. If I stop the video and resum play it does not happen. Does anyone know how to fix this?
    Thanks a lot

This rom is very buggy in terms of performance i will recommend you to revert back to official rom. There is no sense to waste time and find the ways to fix issues instead use official rom and stay happy.

Hi...I have the same situation with random shutdowns.....any news on that ?

I agree with sameerb44... I have tested this custom ROM... with overclocked kernel... without overclocked kernel... There are too many flaws to even begin to mention... including random shutdowns, extreme screen flickering, unresponsive stock remote.....
So, in general.. kudos to Wasser for the effort but this firmware is somewhere pre-pre-alpha stage. Stick to the 250 version

When you choose to install a custom ROM, you always take this chance. How else would new custom ROMs see wider testing?

If you want stability, predictability, etc., stick to the Minix-supported official firmwares.

I have the CFw in X7 and I would like to install the Wasser-3-0-6-android-lollipop to upgrade my minix!

    All the details:
    Model nr: NEO-X7 (THeNiRoBox)
    Android version: 4.2.2
    Kernel version: 3.0.36+
    Build nr. rk3188-eng 4.2.2 KOT49H eng-leolas.20140520.114123 test-keys
    Vendor Software version TheNitroTeam-quickshot_v3.1_4.4.2-SDK

My concern is, how to proceed?

just use this procedure(http://www.minixforum.com/threads/video-tutorial-on-flashing-firmware-rkflashtool.1548/) or once that I have CFw installed I need a special procedure?

After tried this ROM - Wasser 5.1.1, I cannot put my Minix X7 into flash mode (hold reset + power button) to reflash FW250. Please advise.

yes but now this box is too outdated in terms of specification and application support .. there are many more android boxes available in market which is 2 times cheaper and 5 time better in performance ..

Hey there, did anyone ever get RK Remote or another remote control working?
