    I m not sure if this is the right place to put this bug, if not I will be happy to create a new thread somewhere else.
    I recently discover a interesting application for kids. WATCH DISNEY JUNIOR available for USA cable subscribers.
    Unfortunately it does not work on Minix or at least the video does not play well.
    Everything is ok but when I play one of the video I can hear only the audio and after a few seconds there is some video but it is extremely blurry with horizontal lines.
    FYI the application form google store is not even compatible so I needed to extract the apk from some emulator (bluestacks).

    I m not sure if you can easily fix this issue. If so I would be very thankful, especially my son :)

    I can confirm the same problems. Audio only, garbled video. If you do not have subscription with one of the select US cable providers, there is not much to watch using this app. My cable provider (Time Warner Cable) is not in the select list. So, I cannot even test the live channel.

    From what they say on their website (http://watchdisneyjunior.go.com/live), I see that you need at least to have a TV subscription from one of the 6 providers mentioned there. This may be one of the reason of the app not being available in Google play for your devices, including Minix. It's a restriction from the Content Provider.

    If you are a subscriber of one of those 6 CATV listed there and this app is working on another smart device, but not on your Minix, it may be a Minix FW compatibility issue. I'm not sure if this service is using any sort of content encryption (case where usually there is a client to be installed on the device where you are using their "free" service).

    You need also to be aware that if your box is rooted, the service may not work, usually you get a black screen (several content providers implemented in their apps verification for root access).

    I have a subscription to DIRECTV that is one of the providers for this channel. I can watch it on application for other devices like iPad or iPhone.
    The reason because it cannot be directly installed from google store to Minix it must be purely because of compatibility.
    As matter of fact I managed to get the apk from other compatible devices and installed manually into Minix and it is accepting my login credentials but everything is working except the video and it must be simply because of video incompatibility so probably it could be fixed in someway by Minix team.
    But suppose so.. I can understand the difficulty of the team to do any test if they cannot have access to the full features of the app if they do not have any sub providing such access.

    Maybe a silly question: did you tried to open in a web browser and not within the app, to see if the streams are working?

    good question..

    I will check it later but I may need to use a web browser with a desktop user agent, otherwise if it sees that I m using an android device I will directed to get the app.
    Any suggestion for which browser I could use that allows me to use it as desktop web browser?

    From what I found googling a bit, you may try Mercury Browser for Android, it looks like it can spoof the UserAgent string to trick websites into thinking the browser is a desktop browser.

    Mercury has an useragent setting but it does not have a proper flash to play the videos.
    I tried also Flash Fox that I know it has flash video compatibility but it does not have useragent settings :( even I set the desktop version

    So... I m running out of ideas

    I m afraid that dolphin with jetpack is not the solution because it still relies on adobe flash and the last available version does not support the Disney Junior website. And as you know the support for flash for android has been suspended. Basically we have the same problem of using mercury.
    For sure the best and right solution is to get the app working. Hope the Team can support us.

    I see that several users reported in Google Play their issues with different kind of smart devices (Samsung, HTC, Nexus (?) etc)... most of them same issues as yours. It seems to be an issue with the application itself also...

    Really thanks for your support but it does look like it can work.
    I did exactly as you suggested and apparently I managed to login with my provider but then when it comes to play any clip I get overtime different type of errors. Validation errors (that is its not the case, tried ,any times) or Network errors (also this is not the case, I was able to surf the net w/o problems).

    At this point I will put this aside and follow up if they make any update with the App to support more devices and maybe we will get ours too. ;)

    Just out of curiosity: try to set to off the "self-adaptive refresh rate switching" setting, if you have it enabled...

    I have no other ideas for now...:(

    a year later and i'm still having this same issue. Anyone else find a workaround aside from the dolphin browser idea? It does the same thing on my other android streaming box as well and neither will install the firetv apk version
