That would be awesome. However, the 64-bit version cannot be installed on Z64-Windows because it has a 32-bit UEFI. Z64-Android has 64-bit UEFI, but it has ACPI compliance problem which prevents Windows 8.1 from being installed on it. Windows 8 can be installed, but several drivers are missing. I was able to get the Chipset, TXE and Intel HD graphics drivers, but no luck with Wi-Fi, LAN or Audio.

    +1

I got eth working, but not audio nor WiFi, and i can't update it to windows 8.1 :( so I stopped that developing line.
The z64 android is designed for android :) if MINIX can provide a 64 bits bios with windows compatibility without embedded license key, great! We must give thanks to them for that, but the x64 UEFI BIOS was designed to run android, and it runs android very well!, let's see if we got Linux working at full with audio too :)

Can you help me to check in the device manager, the missing hardware device.. you are saying now got only 3 devices yet to be installed right? I suggest to go to the Properties of the missing device driver, then go to Details tab, from the Property drop down menu, select Hardware Ids, and the look for something like this PCI\VEN_XXXX&DEV_XXXX. Later, use pcidatabase website, in the search box for vendor key in only the XXXX after VEN_ string, and also the XXXX in the Device search box (after the DEV_). From there might give us a hint on what are the missing drivers. Please share out your finding with us. Thank you...

There were several (6-7) unknown devices in the device manager. I only mentioned the ones that I could identify from the hardware ids. Unfortunately, I "fried" my box when I connected a 12V power supply by mistake. I have ordered a new one, but it may take some time before I get it.

Asus Transformer Book T200TA is based on Intel Z3795 and Asus website has Windows 8/8.1 64-bit drivers for it. The T200TA uses Intel Broadcom wireless whereas, Z64 has Realtek wireless. I was able to find Realtek 64bit wireless drivers for Lenovo Yoga 13 which might work for Z64 (after modification). Someone will have to try all the different drivers :). You have to install Intel HD graphics driver before restart after initial Windows setup. It installs a Basic Graphics.... driver initially. If you restart without installing the HD Graphics driver, you will get a blank screen on reboot. That was my experience. I had also enabled DPTF under Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework in UEFI.

I did not install anything on the eMMC. I was doing a Windows To Go installation on a flash drive.

Tried the T200 drivers with Z64a, they instal some stuff but not all!
Got the Realtek Audio and HD Graphics installed but that's waiting on a other device to start which isn't installed.
    Ethernet is working though!

Can anyone tell me where I can find the instructions on how to install a new version on Windows 8.1 (not bing) on the z64? I want to install 8.1 Pro so that I can use WMC.
    Thanks in advance!

Try using a download manager - I downloaded the file successfully with Free Download Manager.

Thanks for the drivers. I have the Windows 10 TP running, and have been unsuccessful at finding the right drivers for the audio. Had to use a cheap USB device to get sound :). Will try the package tonight.

Just an update that install of the driver package on Windows 10 TP/32 went smooth and all devices appear correctly installed. I didn't get chance to test audio over HDMI, but audio is working on audio out jack.

    Hi everyone,

Can someone explain me the benefit of these drivers?
I now use kodi 14.2 with the standard Windows 8.1

There is no benefit. These are provided for users that wish to do a fresh install of a different Windows version, as Microsoft does not automatically setup the correct device drivers. Just like a new main board or other hardware in a PC, drivers make them work correctly

    Hi,

I also couldn't download the file completely (3 tries).
Could somebody please post the checksum :)

All drivers are also working fine with the driver packages from the HP Stream 7.
I would like to post the links, but I'm still too new o the forum to do so ;)

For Windows 8.1 install, the driver pack that @MINIX - Ken has provided in the first post is all that is required. It is for Windows 8 64-bit install on Z64A that we were looking for different drivers. After trying several different drivers, I have reached the conclusion that certain chipset devices drivers (e.g. UART and Serial IO DMA controller) cannot be installed on Windows 8 (32/64 bit). I think Windows 8 is not supported on this platform.

    Hi,
Does theses drivers fix the black borders in fullscreen mode for games that are in smallests resolutions than full hd ?

    Thanks,
