i have LG 60PM6700, not sure if it was 2013 or 2012, it works well with CEC and minix
I have my Minix hidden away in a cupboard and I don't have any problems. I don't use an IR remote. I connect Minix to TV and control with CEC-HDMI.
I can then use and surprise depending on what I'm using it for.
My Minix comes out of standby with CEC, so don't need IR or having to keep the box in line of sight.
In this beta version , it is contemplated to solve that when Minix are on standby keep on the ethernet network? (foro link)
It's not designed to work that way...
Just keep it on if you need Ethernet at all time, it's consuming ~1W without active loadings.
In a future firmware, it's will be possible to have multiwindow?
Okay so this minix is comparable? if just it had one usb port with power it would all be fixed. It is like the people that actually designed this, just forgot about this....
Perhaps there are some hacks?
Live with it man.

Full image and zip packages will be uploaded for you guys to update to official build,
thank you very much for your participation of the beta tests.
For goodness sake, leave it go!! When buying anything, decide which features are important to you, do your research via the Internet then buy and enjoy using the item you ended up getting. Don't buy a bicycle and then complain that it doesn't function like a tricycle!!!
Someone on XDA has solved it. Cant insert the link but you can google it with "android ethernet sleep". The link is the one titled "[SOLVED] Keeping Ethernet active when screen is off/locked"
yes but not sleep, our box is the only one in the world which actually sleep. other players just black out the screen. it's different.
Good news - the dark screen issue is fixed
Bad news - it couldn't catch up our 006 FW release
So your box is the only box where Flirc etc dont work? can it modded so that it does not turn of completely, making it usable if you dont want the box in front of your TV?
Repost:In a future firmware, it's will be possible to have multiwindow?
No such plan.
Why on Earth would you want to do that?
Edit: @ChrisCiardy Why you deleted your previous post?
